The Adept's Cry

Do not ask for my allegiance
I won’t tell you that you’re wrong
If you have a form of grievance
Tell me from a place that’s strong
Try to hold me in the banter
Try to speak the place that’s true
Know that in the world of matter
Nothing matters more than you
I can be the one of loving
I can be the one of light
But when it comes to true abiding
I must speak the one of might
If my words do not connect you
To a truer place of "source"
Let the words of my true being
Show through a different kind of force
I will hold you in the darkness
And invoke your strength within
I’ll mother you and nurture from
My given name Quan Yin
But I will also speak my truth
From way beyond the soul
With fierceness and with passion
Scream for beings to be whole
And so when you have a question
Of just how much I can give
Please try to feel into the place
Where Onlyness can live
Where Consciousness and Matter
Wed in harmony and grace
To shatter all conceptions
And Wake Down in time and space
